What is geeky poetry?

Geek poetry is by no means a new idea. Some famous geek poets include Ezra Pound (totally obsessed with Greek Mythology - and the man wore a cape everywhere he went), Dante (who drew a map of Hell, Purgatory, and Heaven with his poetry), and Coleridge (Kubla Khan is one of the most influential fantasy worlds ever creates). Geek poetry has a long and rich history, and yet, we don't have enough geek poetry at this current time.

But what is Geek poetry? Geeky poetry is poetry about, well, things that geeks like. Geek poetry might be like a Jonathan Coulton or They Might be Giants song, only instead of music - its, obviously, poetry. The subject of geek poetry ranges from the mundane world to the fantastic. Dead presidents, zombies, and video games will all make their way into the poems on this site.
